NKC Schools is fully accredited by AdvancED and has been recognized on the national, state and local levels. In just the last few years, North ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ Schools has recieved accolades for innovation in several areas.

- North ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ High School chosen for the Washington Post's annual Most Challenging High Schools list
- Oak Park selected by the International Center for Leadership in Education as one of eight national Model Schools
- Staley High School selected for U.S. News and World Report's annual Best High Schools list
- Winnetonka High School is the first high school in Missouri to earn AVID Demonstration School status
- 27 district sites earned the Energy Star Certification from the EPA

- NKC Schools has been selected as a distinguished Multi-Tier System of Support (MTSS) district
- Won 2017 Region IV Institutional Energy Management Award from the Association of Energy Engineers
- Earned Missouri Dept. of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) Commissioner's Award for Excellence in Professional Learning for literacy work throughout the district
Student Success
- 100% of 2018 graduates admitted to a 2- or 4-year college or the military
- Enrollment in AP courses and involvement in middle school activities continue to grow
- Straight feeder attendance patterns ensure that students have a clear path from kindergarten to high school graduation
- 6th-8th grade programming and extracurricular offerings were expanded to engage students in a wide variety of opportunities
- High school communities redesigned beginning with the Class of 2025, connecting all students with college and career experiences through an industry theme of students' choice
